About us

Starjest Constructions was founded by Neil O’Connor in 1990 – originally trading as Neil O’Connor Constructions. Following the completion of a Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship in 1981, Neil worked as a Sole Trader for many years. He also completed a Clerk of Works to further enhance his knowledge of the building industry.

Neil has over 35 years of experience working on commercial, residential and industrial construction projects in the western regions of New South Wales. He also carried out insurance repair work between 1990 and 1993 in Newcastle following the 1989 Earthquake.

Today, our family-owned company employs four full-time staff members, along with a large number of subcontractors. This blend allows us to offer a vast range of construction services, while always maintaining our high standards of quality and reliability.
